Laura is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the ETH Media Technology Center, where she is currently doing research on abstractive Summarization. She is also interested in low-resource settings. She has a Computer Science background and holds a Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics from the University of Zürich. Her dissertation was on improving lexical choice in Statistical Machine Translation with discourse-aware approaches.
