Jan is a master’s student in History and Philosophy of Knowledge at the D-GESS ETH. He previously studied history and German literature and linguistics at the University of Zurich. At ETH he has worked as a research assistant at the chair for Science Studies of Prof. Hagner and at the chair for Literature and Cultural Studies of Prof. Kilcher. His main interests lie in theory of language, history of the linguistic turn and cognitive approaches to linguistics. He is currently working on his master thesis on the semantics of Large Language Models and natural human language.
